Decorating Guidelines
-
Tuscaloosa's One Place will provide each sponsor/decorator with one 5' egg display and signage listing the sponsor/decorator. The Bunny Trail is primarily a day-time display, and electricity is not provided.
-
When you arrive to decorate your egg, you must check in with a TOP representative. You will receive a copy of the decorating guidelines and your sponsorship sign, then you may select your display.
-
After you have checked in with our team and selected your eggs-hibit, you may take the egg with you to decorate. If you move the egg off-site, you must have it decorated and returned by noon on Friday, March 10th so our team can ensure installation is complete. To have the Bunny Trail hoppin' for Grand Opening on March 11th, we ask that all eggs-hibits be fully decorated by 4:00 PM on Friday, March 10th.
-
Permanent alterations to the egg and display stand are not allowed. Please do not cut, drill, or permanently alter the egg in any way that cannot be painted over. You may use string, wire, hot glue, or finishing nails (large nails, screws, etc. are not permitted). Eggs that are permanently altered will be assessed a damage fee.
-
Please check with TOP or City of Northport staff at check-in if you plan to place anything into the ground around your display. Failure to do so may result in fines for damages to city infrastructure.
-
You may affix additional décor to the display box and immediate area surrounding your eggs-hibit. There is no standard distance between eggs-hibits, but you will most likely have 1-2' on either side of your stand to use. Please remember that these are outdoor displays and will be exposed to the elements. Any décor added to your display and surrounding area must be well-secured.
-
Edible items used to decorate are prohibited. They attract wildlife and compromise the safety of the environment.
-
Bunny Trail is a family friendly display. Please, no offensive or inappropriate décor. We reserve the right to remove offensive displays.
